The ATEC Direct web site is a trading website for ATEC Associates Limited, a Limited company in the United Kingdom, company registration number 4516925.
ATEC Direct is a distributor and wholesaler offering its own distribution products and other products for resale at trade prices to business customers. Our client base consists of large multi-chain retailers, independent retailers and e-tailers. We do not sell to private individuals or direct to consumers.
This website is intended for use by ATEC Direct customers and prospective customers (which may include sole traders and partnerships but in no event consumers or private individuals who intend to purchase products for personal use). Persons who place an order for ATEC Direct products on this website are bound by ATEC Direct’s terms and conditions for Online Sales. Please review these terms and conditions for Online Sales, before placing any order for ATEC Direct products through this website.

Please read the following information carefully. If you use the website and purchase products, you hereby undertake and agree to the following terms and conditions;
Purchasing from ATEC Direct
To purchase from us you must be over the age of 18.
By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods at the prices and terms stated (E&OE) and are allowing us to use your details for the purpose of supplying goods. We will not use your details for any other purpose without your prior written consent.
We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed order acceptance to your order request.
The contract to supply your order is made only at the time that you receive our automated email confirming that the goods have been despatched.
You do not own the goods until payment has been received in full.
You must ensure that all details required are correctly filled in on the order form before submitting, including email address, full postcode & credit card details and any other information requested during the time of your order.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.
All transactions are processed in GBP sterling.
There are no minimum orders or order values set.
Prices?
All goods are priced exclusive of VAT at 17.5%.
All prices and offers are subject to change and availability.
If we discover an error in pricing of the goods in your order, we will inform you as soon as possible, using the contact details you supply us, and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you within seven-ten days, we will cancel the order. In the event of an order being cancelled, any payment made for the goods will be refunded in full.
All products are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply a particular item that you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order.
Shipping and Handling Charges
The website knows the weight of your order and where we are shipping to and are calculated and advised to you prior to submitting your order. By submitting your order you are accepting the shipping and handling costs.
Please note that courier charges are priced not only on weight of any given item but also on the size and packaging costs of each consignment.
Payment Methods
Once you have decided what you want to buy you can select from one of the following payment options: VISA, MasterCard, Maestro/Switch, Switch Solo, VISA Delta, Connect, AMEX, Electron and Paypal. We also offer 30 day accounts subject to approval.
Note 1: Customers using Switch must supply a “Start/ Issue Date” and an “Issue Number” for the card where applicable in addition to the card number and expiry date.
Note 2: Credit cards and Paypal incur a 2% surcharge.
Note 3: If payment by Credit or Debit card, your card will only be charged when the goods have been shipped. In the event of a part shipment, your card will be charged for the partial invoice amount.
Note 4: If Payment is via offline payment or Paypal, you will be charged the full invoice value immediately. Any items not in stock at this time will be placed on back order - should you wish to cancel these items - please advise us within 7 working days.
Credit card Security
To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are sent to us over the Internet. We do not store your credit card details on our server, and they are used once to authorise your transaction.
Off Line Payments
You may also pay by cheque, postal order and bank transfer.
Goods will only be despatched upon confirmation of receipt of cleared funds from our bank.
Credit Terms and Conditions
Where ATEC Direct have authorised a “Credit Account” the following terms and conditions will apply:.
Credit terms of 30 days i.e. 'Full payment of due invoices to be paid within (30) days of the invoice date.'
Notification of queries and/or complaints must be notified to the supplier verbally or in writing within seven (7) days of receipt of the goods (service) and/or invoice: whichever is the latter.
We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to agreed terms.
ATEC Direct reserve the right to withdraw credit facilities without notice
All goods remain the property of ATEC Direct until payment is received in full.
Deliveries
UK Delivery terms
ATEC Direct will use all reasonable commercial efforts to meet your requested delivery dates, however, we do not guarantee delivery dates. You will be advised by email when your goods have been dispatched from our warehouse.
Our standard delivery timeframes within the UK is 24 hours.
For larger consignments that require pallet shipment, delivery can take 2-4 days depending upon location.
Should you require a next day delivery for large consignments, please ensure that this is clearly marked on your order at time of submitting. ATEC Direct will then clarify delivery cost information from the courier and advise you via email of the cost of the shipment. You must accept this cost in writing prior to the goods being dispatched from our warehouse.
We reserve the right to deliver the goods in several consignments, but will not charge any extra delivery for this.
If you have not received your goods within 14 working days of receiving your email advising that your goods have been despatched then please contact ATEC Direct, quoting your full order reference. We will then attempt to locate your shipment and advise you of the expected delivery date.
If you fail to notify ATEC Direct within 14 working days that you have not received your delivery then no claim can be made against ATEC Direct or the Couriers for the cost of missing or lost items.
ATEC Direct cannot be held responsible for courier delays.
For all delivery charges quoted online, ATEC Associates Ltd reserves the right to change delivery charges once all boxes have been packed. ATEC Associates Limited will use best endeavours to minimise volumetric weight before shipment. If this is the case, the buyer will be notified by email and will require the acceptance of the buyer before the order is confirmed and processed.
Export Delivery Terms
The Purchaser is the importer to their destination and is responsible for all taxes and/ or special duty payments on all products ordered on the ATEC Direct web site, from the United Kingdom.
We may use our judgement in selecting the carrier for and manner of any shipment. In no event shall we be responsible for any incidental or consequential or indirect damages due to any delay in deliveries or customs.
Shipments made outside the UK will be made per the Purchasers instructions.
Consignments purchased by the purchaser for export outside the UK shall be FOB, our warehouse, Slough, Berkshire, UK.
In Transit Damage
ATEC Direct will cover items damaged by the shipping carrier unless:
The carrier is the Royal Mail
The item(s) shipped using your own shipping account / courier.
Damaged or Defective Shipments
For items shipped via freight service such as FedEx, Citylink DHL, Securicor, Parceline etc;
The shipment's recipient must receive the shipment in person and must inspect the shipment when delivered.
The recipient must notify the freight delivery driver of the shipping damage, request damage documentation and refuse the damaged shipment. if you fail to do this and items are missing or damaged, no claim can be made against ATEC Direct or the Couriers for these items.
Immediate notification should be issued to support@atecdirect.co.uk advising that delivery has been refused as “goods damaged” or “goods missing” quoting your purchase order number on all correspondence.
ATEC Direct will replace the item at no additional cost to the vendor after ATEC Direct has verified that the item was in fact damaged during shipment. This process may take time to resolve.
ATEC Direct will not cover a shipping damage return and/or replacement in which the buyer fails to follow this procedure.
Refused Delivery / Goods Not Collected / Goods Not Called For
If you refuse a delivery, and the goods are returned to us, we will refund the order less any direct costs to us for the return. For UK courier deliveries, there is a £15 surcharge to return a package to us.
Divisibility
Where delivery is to be made by instalments, each delivery shall be deemed for such purpose to be the subject of a separate contract and any failure whatsoever by the seller in respect of any one delivery shall not entitle the buyer to repudiate the contract or any instalments remaining to be delivered there under.
Clearance/ End of Line and Overstocked Sales
Products sold in our clearance/ sales stock section are sold on an “as is” basis, without any warranty of fitness for any purpose. These products are not covered by our warranty.
Retention of Title
'Title to the invoiced goods will only pass to the buyer/customer when full payment of the invoice is received by ATEC Direct’.
Our Liability
We will not be held liable for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances that are beyond our control.
We will not be responsible for loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
You will be responsible if you use this website in breach of these terms of use and will reimburse us for any loss that you cause to us as a result of your misuse.
We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping online service is provided on an as is and as available basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.

All rights in the designs and information on our website are owned by us. They are protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. You may view, copy and print portions of our website for the sole purpose marketing products purchased from us. The materials on our website may not be used for any other purpose.
